About the Teacher
Hi! I am Melissa Asselin, 6th Grade Teacher here at Botelle Elementary School. I live in Winchester, CT and am the mother of two amazing sons.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Child Study and K-6 Teaching Certification at Saint Joseph College in West Hartford in 2011.
I earned my Masters Degree in Education from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford in 2015.
When not teaching, I love spending time with our sons, playing with our dogs, and the outdoors.
We have four dogs! Two of our dogs are German Shepherds (Pistol and Sable) shown here. Our other two dogs are Pomeranians.
We have many animals! I have two mini donkeys (Dominic and Zack). We also have chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl.
