What your student will be learning about this year?
Your student will be engaging in Reader's and Writer's Workshop throughout the course of the year. They will be learning that they can read almost anything and how to express their writing through words and pictures. In math, they will be learning about how to count, identifying numbers and quantities. We will be mixing in some science and social studies throughout the year as we learn about the world around us.
About Ms Montagna
Hello! My name is Lauren Montagna and I am the Early Primary teacher at Botelle School. I am going into my third year of teaching, having taught special education for grades Pre-K through 1st in a previous school district. I am so excited to back around my hometown of Shelton, CT and my roots of a small town.
My favorite subjects are reading and science although it is hard to choose. I love traveling, hiking and cooking in my spare time. I do not have a favorite color and I enjoy watching hockey.
