Welcome to the Speech and Language Page!
Botelle School offers a variety of special services for students including speech and language therapy. Students in grades PreK through 6th grade can be screened and/or evaluated to identify specific communication needs, and necessary interventions are identified based on educational impact. Special education speech and language services are provided to those students exhibiting a full range of communication disorders including articulation, language, fluency, and voice. Additionally, yearly hearing screenings are conducted for students in grades K-5. Please contact me for additional speech, language, or hearing concerns.
About Mrs. Taddio:
I moved to Connecticut 22 years ago and have been working for Shared Services at Botelle School since that time. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education/Speech and Hearing Handicapped, as well as my Master of Science in Speech Pathology from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. I grew up and worked in the Buffalo area prior to living in CT.
I love my work and am passionate about helping my students become good communicators. I enjoy sharing my excitement for communication and building positive relationships with each of them. In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, crafting, and watching sports.
