If a child is out of school for any reason parents/guardians must send a note to school wihin10 days of absence. The documentaion must include the childs name, date the child was absent, a reason for absence, the date excuse note was written, and a parent/gaurdian signature.

*Any reason that the student's parent/gaurdian approves.
Documentation:*Contact the school nurse within 48 hours * Written note from parent/gaurdian within 10 school days. 
Absences 10+
*Student illness must be verified by appropriately licensed medical professional. 
* Religious holiday *Death in family or other emergency * Mandated in court appearence
* Lack of transportaion* Extraordinary educational opportunities( pre-approved & aligned to specific criteria)
Documentation: *Contact  the school within 48 hours * written note from parent/gaurdian * additional documentaion required for some reasons.
