Hello, my name is Bea Tirrell and I've been a Special Education Teacher, First Grade Teacher, Third Grade Teacher, Multi-age Teacher, and now Leveled Literacy Interventionist, at Botelle, for over thirty years!  I am a proud Norfolk resident and live on a tree farm with my family.  I moved here permanently in time to attend Northwestern Regional School #7 - go Highlanders!  I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Special and Elementary Education at Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, and both my Masters and Sixth Year Degrees in School Psychology at Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, Connecticut.

In 2018, I was fortunate enough to return to Lesley University for training in the highly acclaimed Leveled Literacy Intervention System designed by Irene C. Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell. I am excited to be able to use this training and beautifully crafted literature with my Botelle students. It's so rewarding to see our students skills and enthusiasm for reading just take off!
