Participation in the Instrumental Music Program at Botelle School is open to any student in grades 3-6. Students may choose from a variety of instruments to study, including: flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, and percussion.

LESSONS

Beginning in 3rd grade, students receive weekly lessons on their instrument. For the 2019-20 school year, all beginning instrumental students' lessons are on Fridays, while lessons for 5th and 6th grade returning students are on Mondays.

CONCERT BAND

Upon their second year of playing the instrument, students in grades 4-6 join the Concert Band, which rehearses weekly on Mondays. Students in Concert Band perform at various events throughout the school year, including a winter and spring concert.
